E-Learning week?
21st of may, the beginning of the one week Independent Learning Week(E-learning)
Attempted to do some revision and go through some of the assignments given.
The stupid blackboard just pisses me off, like how slow can a network or webpage get man, i logged into elearning@sp. Then during the fucking slow loading screen, took more than 5mins, i fell asleep.
After my nap, i figured that maybe during the dinnertime or later at night it will be faster, or at least not so damn slow la. That's not the case as well, still as slow at dinnertime and later at night.
The person who manage this blackboard thing should do something about this man. The webpage just killed one of my rare mood to study since years.
OH YA!
Chelsea is the new FA cup holders!
Brilliant goal by drogba, despite the boring match during the first 2 halves, it's still worth watching.
Now down to thursday match between AC milan and Liverpool, if AC milan win i'm so gonna get their next season jersey with the name KAKA' on it. I used to support AC milan when Shevchenko was there, after he left.. i still support them(but not as much) because they are the only team that keep BEATING MANCHESTER UNITED! hahahaha! New start.
I have no idea why, but i feel like blogging all over again. I used to have a blog few years back but i closed it down due to laziness to post and update.
It's been a long time since i blogged so i think this will be quite a long entry.
Firstly, i have to say that i'm really glad to have stop gambling(ok maybe stop betting on soccers only), i still buy 4Ds and totos sometimes. That's a really great achievement alright, it's hard to stop because after you won in the past you will be tempted to bet again. Actually big achievement is not the word as well, i learnt through a heavy price to pay, 2 near 3 thousands dollar and i think some of my friends are surprise or should i say shock because i tried to borrow money from them to try to clear my debts. You know something? To borrow money from your friends for this kinda amount makes me feels that i lost my pride. Ok, luckily none of my friends lent me. Because for that amount i will have a hard time returning them in a short time. So, i told my mum the whole thing and she promised to help me pay provided i stop betting soccer again. So i did, i've stopped betting since 04-02-2007. This shows that it's true that Blood is Thicker than water. You can have all the friends in the world, but in fact, a supporting and tight family can be the only one that let you feel the warmth inside. Not because she paid for my debt that i said this, it's because she had been pretty supportive for things i do(other than games, skipping lesson and sleep for very long hours), she always give me the freedom to do what i want.
I've completed my Industrial Training Programme(ITP) or in short attachment. Actually it's kinda a good experience to have a hand-on work that is pretty related to your course. You'll realise what you learnt from the book and practicals actually can be used in the Real World, maybe only 5% of what you've learnt will be used though. We'll have learnt so much things from primary 1 till now. Many of which i dont think we will ever use, like for example the mathematical equation for a cylinder. How many of us remember for the equation? I dont think many will remember( as for me i forgotten ) How many of us will have the chance to use it in our daily work? I dont think there will be many as well, or perhaps maybe will there be any? From my ITP workplace i came to know many people from all races, indians as the most friendly, this is not the first time i've work but this is the first time i am working with a special status( a attachment student) with this status it means that i go there to learn and the main thing is learn, the output of my work is not important. This is one thing that real life working cant provide you with because output will always for more important for working in reality. You cant expect yourself to earn $100 a day to keep learning new things at work although you have more important work to do like finishing your projects or reports. I swear your boss will sack you due to the low output of your work, maybe you learn much new things but you wont be using it anyway, till you get a new job. So i manage to get through the 2 and a half months of attachment, and it feels great when i see those switchboards and control panel outside, made by my company. The feeling is good man, when you feel that what you've done or learnt actually can be widely used.
Been struggling to force myself to go to school everyday on time. It's hard to wake up in the morning because i'm a night person. Night is a good time, cooling, don't have the crowd like compared to the morning ( i hate crowds), and the quietness of the surrounding makes me feels relax and more alert compare to morning time. Where i try to open my eyes and get myself out of the bed. So tough, just so tough. Maybe some of you might say if you sleep early you will wake up early what... That does not applies to me, i sleep early, i still wake up late, even if i wake up on time i will still be tired. Trust me, i know myself more than any other people.
Early bird gets the worm. Thats what they always say.
But what happened to the worm?? Wake up early just to get eaten?
Whoever said early bird gets the worm should reflect man, maybe he/she should change it to early bird gets the biscuit of something like that.
Final Year, sounds great doesnt it. Last year in poly( hopefully) and i will graduate already!
My result have not being ideal, but nevertheless i manage to pass everything. Some people just like to hao lian their results you know, i'm not directly pointing at anyone, because i know quite a few fuckers like these. Out of the 10 of you, i think 9 are super hardworking and 1 with the talent to learn fast. I respect them for doing well and getting good results, but is there a point to laugh at those who didnt do as well? I dont see the need, it's just how ignorant you are. You might get As or distinction for all your modules but you definitely failed the biggest test in your life, that is to be humble, i'm not trying to say i'm very humble or what. Maybe i wont get the best test result unless i work hard, but having the motivation to work hard to pretty tough, too many temptations around, games, movies, musics and relationships. Compared to studying, those are a hell lot more fun.
Personal philosophy : work hard, play harder.
Talking about movies, i recommend Blades of Glory if you wanna have a GREAT LAUGHING TIME. Damn the movie was funny. Will Ferret is simply brilliant, actually sometimes i think that comedian are the smartest people in the world, they can think of funny stuffs that none of us can. Many of them with the ability to imitate peoples' actions or voices, one classic one is Russell Peters. I can watch his clips over and over again and laughing at the same joke he made, but i think he is running out of ideas to joke about, because it's impossible to come up with 1 hour of new joke every show. Maybe for the whole show, 30% of the jokes are recycled( meaning he said before in other shows). But it doesnt matter, i'll still laugh at the 30% when he says them, because he will improve on the old jokes by exaggerating more on it.
Enough said, i think that's all for the time being..
